CRICKET introduction, History and Rules

Cricket is a team sport played between two groups of eleven people each. The modern form of cricket originated in England, and this sport was popular in Commonwealth countries. In several countries in South Asia, such as India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, cricket is the most popular sport. Cricket is also an important sport in England and Wales, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Zimbabwe and the Caribbean region where residents speak English (called West Indies).

Cricket is a game that uses a bat ("bat") and a ball. The aim of the game is to score more runs (numbers) than the other teams. Cricket games can last up to five days and can last six hours or more each day.

How to Play Effective Cricket: Cricket Rules, Tips and Secrets

Much like baseball, cricket is a bat-and-ball sport played by two teams, a team called. Each team has a total of eleven players. In each game segment, or round, two teams switch between agile and hit alternately. The eleven players in each team consist of strikers, called batsmen, fielders and bowlers. During the game, two referees or referees maintain order in the game and make sure all players follow the rules. In the event of an error, the referee calls it and gives a fine and other consequences accordingly.

How to play effectively by keeping track of the rules

Being an effective cricketer can be achieved by first familiarizing yourself with the basic rules of the game. Like all other sports, every mistake made during the match has been punished. Not only that the sanctions make the careless squad look bad, but punishment is also a good way to rack up the value for the opposing team. To prevent this, each player must have a clear understanding of the game's crystals and what these penalties are. The following are four good examples of penalties that give the batting team an extra walk each time an agile team makes a mistake:

cricket  is a sport that is not well known to the outside world which is quite large only in country 3: Britain, India and Pakistan.Just to get an idea, only one cricketer is one of the highest paid 100 athletes in the world, but this one gets a very high number of 31 million per year (27 of them are sponsors) making 23 of the highest paid athletes in the world . Cricket history

This sport came from an old sport called stoolball, and in the seventeenth century, British nobility began to adopt more cricket as a real sport and had changed to mutate to what it is today.

Cricket was once an Olympic sport, but eventually left the program because it did not have all the rules that were well-established and the number of practitioners in the World was not large enough. They are currently trying to include it again, especially as display sports (no medals) but it is still unclear when they will get it.

Cricket match

Cricket games are a little tricky and very different from other sports, have very specific rules and how you play, although some claim that they are similar to baseball (maybe only in some aspects).

Cricket Field

Each team consists of 11 players, and the field does not have a defined dimension, only has broad requirements. It is usually oval and consists of zone 3:

Rectangle  - It has two zones. The middle zone and the two ends (which have "H").
In the middle zone of the rectangle there are 2 Batting Strikers, which have cricket bats.

At the bottom is the Launcher and at the top is the Receiver to catch the ball.

Interior and Space- Here the defense of 11 teams to be maintained is distributed.

Game and Positioning Goals

Each Striker puts himself in front of his "witchet" and while someone is waiting for the ball to be sent to him by the Launcher, the other striker is waiting to run.

After the ball has been thrown, the striker will try to hit the ball as far as possible, and the following situation can occur:

  • If the ball leaves the field with air, mark point 6
  • If the ball leaves the field but has touched the ground, mark point 4
  • If the ball is folded and is still inside the field, Scouts can mark changes in the same position with more time. If there is a defender who manages to catch the ball and send it to the recipient, as soon as he receives the ball they cannot change again. Each exchange is worth 1 point.
  • Defense distribution  is player 2 near Rectangle (Launcher and Receiver), 4 in Interior space and 5 in space.

The thrower to take a shot will take the balance and finally do it in the rectangular end line. If he can hit and drop one of the 3 Witchet sticks after the ball soars once on the ground, the Scout is eliminated.

Flying ball

Like in baseball, if after the Beater sends the ball away, some Defense can get it before it hits the ground, then the Beater is knocked out.

Witchet Drop for Defense

If after the dough taps the ball and starts exchanging with other dough to score points, if the defender picks up the ball sends from afar and hits and drops one of the witchet sticks or sends to the receiving defense and this one. to drop

Keep it with your knees

If the dough deflects the ball with the knee to prevent it from being tapped, then the dough will be removed.

How the game ends

In this game defined a number of Overs by innings and a number of matches (one or two). An Over is 6 which is followed by the launch of the player. After Overs is achieved by a team or able to eliminate 10 scouts or 10 records 10 times the match ends and the attacking team defends and vice versa.

At the end of all matches, the team with the most points wins. If there is a tie

Rules in Cricket

In cricket games, coaches are not allowed to interfere in matches. All decisions and strategies are determined by the team captain. In contrast to baseball, all decisions are in the hands of the coach, including choosing players who take to the field.

In cricket games each team consists of;
1.     The Team Captain is tasked with determining the strategy and players who take to the field at the start of the match.

2.   Batsman, tasked with hitting the ball. Each bat has the opportunity to hit the ball twice and then be replaced by another partner. If one beater fails, he must get out of the field and be replaced by another player on the team.

3. Bowler, in charge of throwing the ball.

4. Fielders , have a role as a catcher of a ball that is hit by an opposing player. If you successfully catch the ball, the bat team will not get a score or run.

5. The Wicket keeper , just like the fielders, the wicket keeper is tasked with capturing the ball that the batsman can't hit. The position of the wicket keeper is behind the batsman and in front of the cricket goal in the form of three sticks standing parallel behind the bat.

6. Mid On and Mid Off, is the right hand of the batsman on the left (mid off) and right (mid on).

7. Gully, tasked with catching the ball before the ball slides further and opens the chance for the opposing player to run. Behind the player who serves as a slips.

8. Slips , totaling 4 people standing in a row behind the goal in the off side, between the ball hitting area and third man.

9. Long On and Long Off, to the left of the bowler (long on) and to the right of the bowler (long off).

Cricket has two rounds in one match. In each round the game of cricket has no definite time provisions. Cricket is played based on the number of over which consists of 6 balls or throws. In the world cricket championship, ODI (One Day International) Test in one round has 90 over which means 540 balls while in general terms, each round only has 50 over which means 300 balls. So do not be surprised if this sport is played in a very long time. At least one daily, and it does not rule out the possibility of the game being finished in a few days.
